Films: Into the Grizzly Maze (2015)
Alias: None
Type: Natural
Location: Forest
Height/Weight: That of an average grizzly bear.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: Mazes are a constant source of anxiety and aimlessness, should you be the one traversing through one. But much like the one Theseus had to put up with, this one has a monster in it too. But it's one just as dangerous out in the open. It's a bear with one Hell of an attitude.
History: Deep within the Alaskan wilderness, there is the Grizzly Maze. Not quite a conventional labyrinth, but it has the hallmarks. Easy to get lost, supposedly a reward at the end, and at least something to keep you on your toes. Now, if only that something wasn't a slightly larger-than-average grizzly bear. A bear that, might we add, seems to be killing out of pure rage rather than food or territory. Now, a couple hunters and other folk have to go into the maze to end the grizzly's rampage. But that's easier said than done.
Notable Kills: Bites into a guy's face after pinning him.
Final Fate: After barely managing to escape a ring of fire, the bear is finally put down when one hunter manages to jam a knife into its neck. It collapses dead, and the forest returns to normal.
Powers/Abilities: None.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-It's a big bear with a penchant for violence and the disposition of a maneater. That's all there is really to say. Well, besides the fact that the digital effects sort of sully the awe and terror this beast exudes.
Trivia: -Scenes from this film's original script, "Red Machine" actually made it into "Backcountry" from last year, mainly because of a dispute between those two films' creators.
-Actors like Adrien Brody, Gerald Butler, and Hayden Christenson were slated to be in this film, but they had other plans.
